1. What is
PTC?
Paid To Click is an online business model that draws online
traffic from people aiming to earn from home. Paid-To-Click, or simply PTC
websites act as middlemen between advertisers and consumers; the advertiser pays
for displaying ads on the PTC website, and a part of this payment goes to the
viewer when he views the advertisement.
2. How does
it work?
You view websites in 10-30 second sessions via the
"Surf Ads" page. Once the timer runs out, you will see a confirmation that
you have been credited for the ad. You cannot view more that one ad at a
time from a PTC site.
3. How
do I make money?
Once you see the confirmation that you have
been credited for the ad, your account will be credited with the amount
specified by the PTC site. The more ads you view, the more money you accumulate.
Once you reach your pay-out limit (usually $2) you can request for the money to
be transferred to your online banking partners account. (I use Alertpay and
Paypal)
4. How
do I know the PTC site is a Scam?
Below
are ten points to help you recognise a PTC scam
site.
1. No
Security Monitors for Members: This is what, which got our
first attraction, Security Monitors for members. Having a highl level of
security really determines the legitimacy of a Paid To Click site. But those
PTCs which don't have security levels like the
256 Bit SSL protection are likely to be scams. As we believe that
security is something which is very much needed by PTC Sites to help and gain
their members' satisfaction. Not having 256 Bit SSL protection, are the first
indication of that Paid To Click Program being a Scam!
You can easily know
that if your PTC Site has a security level of 256 Bit SSL Protection by
looking at
your browsers address bar in Mozilla Firefox , you would find the sign of
authentication that has been provided by the Security Providing Company after
successful verification.
2. Not active or no Support Staff/Management: A PTC Site not having a support staff is likely to be a scam. Our experience has proved that a PTC Site which doesn't have Help/Support Team is 98% Scam. The reason is that they can't face their customers or do not want to make their identity open to the people fearing being legally prosecuted.
3. Too
much delay in Payments: Like when we requested our
payments from Bux.to and B-u-x.net, we were told that we have to wait for at
least 60 days. But they even didn't pay us on that promised date saying that "We
are monitoring your account as when our administration would approve your
account your frozen payments would soon be released".
We bet if your joined
PTC says the same thing, It's a
scam!!
4. Hackers Paradise: It's obvious that not having security would definitely be Hackers Paradise where your privacy is not in your control and you are just going to loose your investments. Even today there are some expert hackers who can even shut down the site as before we have seen the Collapse of the UK-Bux.
5. High rate on per click: You must check the pay rate of the company on per click. Usually Legitimate PTC Sites pay $0.01 to $0.02. If they advertise to give $1 to $10+ on per click, then surely 100% it's a scam!! No questions about it...
6. Copied or Crappy Site Design: You must have understood by this signal phrase point, having a copied or crappy site design means that that particular company has only come in the industry to scam people. Never join such PTC sites which run on a copied or have a crappy site design or function.
7. Poor or not beneficial Referral Renting: It's always good and beneficial in legit PTC Sites to rent referrals as that your referrals would double or even triple your daily earnings. And when you rent referrals there, they'll fetch your rented referrals within just 2+5 minutes. But scam PTCs would take days for fetching you referrals and even if you receive them they'll be inactive for sure. This way you'll lose your investments, so be Aware!!
8. Rules that are strict restrictions: If you
observe that the rules are not beneficial for you, it means that the
administration has developed rules for their self interest. This PTC is likely
to Scam you.
9. Not
having a Site Forum: Their should be a forum where members could
easily interact and ask the moderators for solutions to their problems. Sites
which don't own a forum are definitely scams, as it's clear that the
administrator doesn't care of the members and don't want to solve their
problems.
10. Negative feed backs and thoughts on the
web: We suggest you, don't take
risk, before joining any PTC site just do some home work and type the site name
followed by scam and search your query on the search engines and know what the
members and experts have to say about that Paid to Click
site.
